FCIC Guides Grade 10 Students on Senior High School Pathways

The Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception (FCIC), through its Guidance Department, conducted a Career Guidance session for Grade 10 students on January 28, 2026, at the Audio Visual Room. The activity aimed to help students make informed decisions as they prepare to enter Senior High School.

Mrs. Blanchie G. Torcino led the session, providing a clear and comprehensive discussion on the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum. She explained how the updated curriculum is designed to develop students’ academic readiness, skills, and career awareness, ensuring they are well-prepared for future college and career opportunities.

The discussion also focused on the different electives offered in Senior High School, highlighting how these subjects allow students to explore their interests and align their choices with their strengths and long-term goals. Students were encouraged to carefully consider their preferences and aspirations when selecting their Senior High School track and electives.

This Career Guidance activity reflects FCIC’s commitment to guiding students during important academic transitions. By equipping Grade 10 learners with relevant information and proper direction, the school continues to empower its students to make confident and well-informed academic choices.
