FCIC Achieves Consecutive 100% Passing Rate in Elementary Level for 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers

Baybay City, Leyte — The results are in! The Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception (FCIC) has once again proven its commitment to academic excellence, securing a 100% passing rate for Elementary Level first-time takers in the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT). This milestone marks the second consecutive perfect passing rate for FCIC, following its exceptional performance in the March 2024 LEPT.

The overall performance of FCIC in the Elementary Level stands at 53.85%, significantly exceeding the national passing rate of 45.51%. This accomplishment further reinforces FCIC’s reputation as one of the region’s leading institutions for teacher education, consistently producing high-quality educators equipped with the skills and values needed to excel in the profession.

Meanwhile, FCIC’s graduates in the Secondary Level also demonstrated resilience and determination. The passing rate for first-time takers was 57.50%, contributing to an overall performance of 48.15%. While slightly below the national passing rate of 56.88%, these results reflect the unwavering commitment of FCIC’s future educators to overcoming challenges and achieving their goals.

These consecutive achievements highlight the rigorous academic programs, practical training, and Franciscan values-based education that FCIC’s College of Teacher Education provides to its students. The institution remains dedicated to molding educators who are not only competent in their fields but also compassionate leaders who are ready to make meaningful contributions to their communities.

The dedication and expertise of the College of Teacher Education Faculty played an integral role in inspiring and equipping students for success, while the partnership with ALTA-SOFIA INSTITUTE significantly enhanced students’ preparation through their effective review programs. Together, these individuals and groups have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to academic excellence and the formation of service-driven educators.
