The FCIC Heralds delivered an exceptional performance in the Pre-Cluster PRISAA 2025, sweeping championship titles in Women’s Volleyball, Men’s Volleyball, and Men’s Table Tennis Singles B.
The Women’s Volleyball Team opened strong with a commanding win over Saint Michael College (SMC), taking Set 1 at 25–11 and battling through a tight Set 2 at 25–23. They sealed their crown in the championship match against Bato Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) with a confident 25–19 finish. These victories highlighted the Heralds’ discipline, teamwork, and unwavering determination from start to finish.
The Men’s Volleyball Team showed equal dominance, overcoming BIST in their opening match to advance to a tense showdown with SMC. Demonstrating grit under pressure, FCIC pulled off a clean sweep with Set 1 at 25–21, Set 2 at 25–23, and a thrilling Set 3 at 26–24. The team’s ability to stay composed in tight moments reflected months of preparation, teamwork, and the loud support of FCICians cheering passionately from the sidelines. Every spike and block echoed the school’s spirit of resilience and true Franciscan sportsmanship.
Completing FCIC’s triumphant sweep was John Erron Merano, who dominated the Table Tennis Men’s Singles B division with a decisive 3–0 victory over BIST. His agility, precision, and sharp focus stood out throughout the match. Surrounded by teammates and supporters, Merano’s win capped an unforgettable PRISAA experience, proving that FCIC’s strength comes not only from athletic skill but from a community that lifts one another to victory.
In every game, chant, and celebration, the Heralds showed what it truly means to be Franciscan athletes, guided by dedicated coaches and grounded in integrity, respect, and compassion. Their triumphs remind us that at FCIC, victory is defined not only by the scoreboards but by the shared values carried on and off the court. Truly, FCIC is your home of excellence and transformation!
