FCIC Heralds Men’s Volleyball Team: Showcasing Franciscan Excellence in Invitational Volleyball Showdown 2025

In line with the Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception’s (FCIC) mission to “deliver cutting-edge educational programs centered on the needs of learners,” the FCIC Heralds Men’s Volleyball Team is set to represent the institution in an Open Invitational Volleyball Showdown last October 19, 2025, at the Western Leyte College of Ormoc Gymnasium. The event serves as part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming Pre-Cluster PRISAA, an important step toward strengthening their skills and readiness for higher levels of competition.

Guided by the unwavering support of Coach Omar Neri, the Heralds have been rigorously training to enhance their performance, teamwork, and discipline. Coach Neri’s dedication and passion have been instrumental in fostering a sense of unity and determination among the players—values deeply rooted in the Franciscan spirit of excellence and service.

The team’s participation in this invitational event is made possible through the encouragement of Sister Mary Michael Bactong, OSF, School President, whose leadership continues to inspire both faculty and students to pursue holistic development. Her strong support for co-curricular and athletic activities reflects FCIC’s belief that education goes beyond the classroom, nurturing both the mind and the heart.

The FCIC Heralds Men’s Volleyball Team continues to embody the Franciscan values of faith, humility, and perseverance. Their participation in this event is more than a competition—it is a testament to the institution’s mission of forming well-rounded individuals who strive for excellence while remaining anchored in moral and spiritual integrity.

As they step onto the court, the Heralds bring with them the collective support of the FCIC community, students, faculty, and administrators alike, believing that their unity and determination will lead to victory. With the guidance of Coach Omar Neri and the steadfast support of Sister Mary Michael Bactong, OSF, the team stands ready to represent FCIC with pride, faith, and the true Franciscan spirit of “Excellence, Faith, and Service.”
