FCIC’s 36 High School students participated this year’s Division,Science, Technology,and Mathematics Fair (DSTMF) Quiz Bee today, November 29, 2025. The event that showcased not only academic skill but also the passion of young learners for scientific inquiry and mathematical excellence.
Eighteen junior high school students represented FCIC in the Science Quiz Bee conducted at Baybay City National Night High School (BCNNHS), while another team participated in the Mathematics Quiz Bee held at Baybay 1 Central School. The participants and the coaches arrived at the respective venues at 7:00 AM.
The Quizbee competition was composed of two batches, the first batch began promptly at 8:00 AM and concluded at 8:30 AM. This was followed by the second batch , which resumed at 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Throughout the contest, FCIC’s students demonstrated critical thinking and friendly competition-qualities that reflect the school’s commitment to excellence and upholding good values.
Although the awarding ceremony will happen on January 2026, the exact date will be announced via the Baybay City Division official Facebook page, the spirit of achievement remains strong among the participants.
FCIC’s involvement in the DSTMF Quiz Bee reinforces the school’s mission of developing academically competent and future ready learners. Their participation stands as a testament to the school’s goal as a community that values excellence in science and mathematics learning. FCIC continues to empower learners to harness the unknown as guiding them toward a future powered by science, innovation, and limitless possibilities.
