The 2nd Regional Student Leadership Summit 2025, organized by PAPSAS Region VIII, gathered young leaders at Visayas State University. The FCIC IT Team completed a four-day Fiber Optic Training at IBFP Technologies, covering fiber splicing, network infrastructure design, outside plant deployment, and FTTH implementation, gaining hands-on experience and expertise in modern fiber optic network technologies and maintenance best practices.
FCIC participated in the CEAP International Research Conference on February 17-18, 2025, at Saint Louis University, Baguio City. The event focused on transformative Catholic education through research, addressing policy-making, educational challenges, and lifelong learning. FCIC aims to integrate key insights into its programs.
The FCIC TESDA Assessment Center, established in 2008, has empowered Hospitality Management students with cutting-edge skills. Overcoming Typhoon Yolanda’s devastation, it emerged stronger, offering premier assessment services and earning the 2024 “Best Accredited Assessment Center” award under inspiring leadership.
FCIC dazzled in its first-ever performance at the 13th Binaybayon Festival, showcasing talent, culture, and unity. Their presentation highlighted local livelihoods, environmental protection, and community resilience. Despite limited resources, FCIC earned recognition, inspiring hope and heritage preservation in Baybay City.
