On August 30, 2025, FCIC joined other Catholic schools in the CEAP Regional Assembly at Palo, Leyte. With the theme “Living in Synodality,” the gathering emphasized unity, faith, collaboration, values formation, financial sustainability, and holistic education for future challenges.
Student leaders of Basic Education High School held a leadership training and team-building at Payag sa Plaridel Resort, Baybay City, Leyte. Activities, talks, and games focused on teamwork, responsibility, and transformative leadership, strengthening bonds and empowering leaders for future challenges.
On August 15, 2025, FCIC employees attended a personality development session led by Rev. Fr. Jose Litigio, OFM. He emphasized balance of body and soul, lifelong learning, wise choices, self-awareness, and the “Three R’s”: Revelation, Reverence, and Risk.
Microwide’s Learning and Development Center, in partnership with FCIC, celebrated its 6th Recognition Ceremony with a Mass, MOA renewal, and awarding of certificates, reaffirming their commitment to digital literacy, holistic education, and community-focused computer skills training.
FCIC celebrated ASEAN Month with vibrant traditions, uniting students, faculty, and staff under the theme “Sama-sama sa Pag-unlad.” Through cultural parades, dances, and shared values, the event highlighted unity in diversity, embracing ASEAN’s vision of one community and identity.
The First Non-Teaching Personnel In-Service Training at Franciscan College emphasized spiritual growth through Lectio Divina, led by Rev. Fr. Jose Litigio, OFM, fostering deeper faith, unity, and commitment to Gospel values in alignment with the school’s mission.
On August 13, 2025, the Franciscan College of the Immaculate Conception held a seminar on Franciscan Leadership and Conflict Management, highlighting a leadership style rooted in compassion, faith, and action, and emphasizing mercy, fraternal correction, and the Gospel way of life.
FCIC was honored as one of DepEd Baybay City Division’s Outstanding Stakeholders during Pasidungog 2024, recognizing its Christ-centered Franciscan education. The award affirms FCIC’s commitment to excellence, with alumni and community proudly celebrating its legacy of competence, compassion, and heart.
New Midwifery students were warmly welcomed at FCIC’s orientation, marking the start of their journey to become compassionate, skilled caregivers dedicated to serving mothers and newborns with integrity, empathy, and excellence, rooted in Franciscan values and lifelong service.
