On December 16, 2024, FCICian performers and employees brought vibrant energy to the Baybay City Gym as they gathered at 7:30 PM to celebrate the highly anticipated FCIC Night 2024. The event’s theme, “Hopeful Sailing Towards Salvation with and in Jesus and Mary,” resonated through every element of the program, which overflowed with joy-filled dance and vocal performances that embodied the true spirit of Christmas.
The FCIC Poverello Chorale set the tone for the evening with a stirring opening performance. Following this, the program moved seamlessly into the invocation, the rendition of the Philippine National Anthem, and the soulful singing of both the Baybay and FCIC Hymns. The evening’s standout moments included the inspiring Greccio Tableau, a heartfelt dramatization of the Nativity, and the debut of “Pasko sa FCIC,” the school’s official Christmas song. These were further complemented by stunning performances from FCIC faculty and students, whose enthusiasm and talent illuminated the stage.
Adding depth to the celebration, Sister M. Amore Dapunan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, concluded the festivities with a heartfelt speech that emphasized the themes of faith, unity, and gratitude. Her words left a lasting impact, encouraging all present to carry the evening’s messages into their lives.
The gymnasium radiated with twinkling lights and an atmosphere of shared devotion and camaraderie. This celebratory event was more than a seasonal gathering—it was a heartfelt reflection on the values of faith, introspection, and connection. As participants immersed themselves in the festivities, they were reminded of the essence of Christmas: finding peace, fostering unity, and cherishing the joy of togetherness amid the holiday rush.
